Let's do life together
For many, feeling isolated and lonely comes with the territory of living in D.C. We're scared to put ourselves out there, feel like we need to have it all together, or frankly just don't have the time to make friends.
Being a church in the District, we know that finding real, authentic community is one of the biggest challenges that people face. We believe that God created us to do life with each other (1 Corinthians 12), to have real relationships, and grow more like Jesus together.

Current Community Groups
*These small groups are specialized for individuals that have become members of our church and are currently striving to "walk humbly with their God," as outlined in Micah 6:8. These groups are Scripture intensive, and one of the best things the church has to offer you in furthering your relationship with God.
Our College ministry meets on Sunday mornings at 11am. Our goal is to partner with you in this crucial time by providing a time to gather with people in the same walk of life you are currently in. We also provide transportation to our 9:45am service every week from Georgetown University and Foggy Bottom Metro.

Jesus' great commission was to 'go and make disciples'. Disciples are simply disciplined followers. We believe that disciples of Jesus can change the world. Strand is designed specifically for the purpose of training men and women to mentor and disciple others.
