Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.” Waterfront Church believes that every child should have the opportunity to learn about, experience, and grow in the love of Christ. At Waterfront your child will be introduced to biblical truth through Bible stories, scripture memorization, music, games, crafts, and more! Waterfront Church is also dedicated to equipping parents to effectively communicate the gospel to their children in every day life.
Waterfront Preschool consists of children ages 8 weeks up to 4 years.
We meet in the Children's Space, just two doors down from our main church building. Our Preschool provides childcare Saturday during our 5pm service and Bible Lessons Sunday during the 9, 10:15, and 11:30am service. We currently have three classrooms: nursery for children 8 weeks to 23 months, a 2 & 3 year old class, and our PreK 4 class. On Sunday mornings 2-4 year olds will all have the opportunity hear a Bible story, participate in an activity or craft that reinforces the lesson, have indoor playground time, and enjoy a (nut free) snack. Please contact Amber Brown (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you have any questions pertaining to our nursery or children’s ministry.
Waterfront Kids consists of children kindergarten to 5th grade.
Kids are always welcome to join their parents for worship service. If you have a grade school kid (kindergarten to 5th grade), they can join us for Waterfront Kids Sunday during the 9, 10:15, and 11:30am services. After the second worship service song, they may join our adult volunteers in the lobby to then participate in songs, snacks, games, crafts, and a Bible lesson. Please contact Lauren Pagett (email@example.com) if you have questions pertaining to our grade school ministry.
Special Needs Ministry and Young Life Capernaum.
At Waterfront Church we believe all people deserve to know God’s love. The special needs ministry exists to nurture and support students with physical and intellectual disabilities by encouraging them in the gospel, teaching them to worship God, and loving them unconditionally. If your child has a special need, please reach out to Lauren Pagett (firstname.lastname@example.org) and let us know how we can best welcome you.
Young Life Capernaum is an opportunity for teens and young adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities to know God. Here at Waterfront, Club meets every Thursday night from 6:00-7:30 in our main space. At Club, students will make new friends, play games, eat snacks, sing, and hear a message. Support from other church and community members allow us to meet in small groups and better connect.
If you know of or have a person with special needs in your home or neighborhood, please know we are excited to meet their need in community groups, worship, and understanding God.
